Cairo University

In 1938, the nucleus of the  Alexandria University haad its beginninng iinn tthe form of two satellite faculities of fouad the first university.These were the forrm of the faculities of Arts and Law.  Alexandria university,formerly known as Farouk University, became a separate entity in August 1942 with four additional faculities:  Science, commerce, Medicine &  Agriculture. Kafrelsheikh University was established on 19 April 2006, Kafrlsheikh University was established by the presidential Decree No (129). Historically, the nucleus of the faculities started with the establishment of the higher Agricultural Institute in 1957 in Kafrlsheikh governoraate, affiliated with the Ministery of Higher Education. In 1969, the institute was transferred to the Faculty of Agriculture, affiliated with Alexandria University.The faculty was annexed to tanta University after its establishment in 1973.
